Editorial Policy
Editorial Policy & Content Guidelines
This Editorial Policy (“Guidelines”) forms part of the Terms and Conditions of iGamingPRNews (“we”, “our”, or “the Service”), a brand operated by Control PR F.Z.C. (trading as CTRL PR), License No. 52097, registered at Ajman Freezone C1 Building, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. These Guidelines apply to all content submitted to or produced by iGamingPRNews for the purpose of organic editorial placement on partner publications.
What We Do (and Don’t Do)
iGamingPRNews focuses on organic editorial placement — securing real journalism on real publications through direct relationships with editors. We do not operate a paid press release wire. Every piece of content we place is reviewed against this policy before being pitched to our editorial partners, and again by each individual publication before publication.
Because we place content on third-party publications that maintain their own editorial standards, these Guidelines reflect both our requirements and the typical expectations of high-authority iGaming, business, and crypto media.
Editorial Review Process
All content — whether written by our team or supplied by the client — is reviewed by iGamingPRNews’s editorial team before being submitted to publications. We will contact you directly if any submission requires revision. After our review, individual publications conduct their own editorial review and may request further changes. Final publication decisions rest with each publication.
Content Requirements
Every article placed through iGamingPRNews must meet the following requirements in full:
- Genuine newsworthiness. Content must concern an actual announcement, event, milestone, or development of relevance to the iGaming industry. Qualifying examples include new product or platform launches, licensing acquisitions, partnerships and integrations, funding rounds, mergers and acquisitions, executive appointments, jurisdictional expansions, regulatory milestones, and major industry events. Routine marketing content, promotional offers, and bonus campaigns do not qualify.
- Sector relevance. Content must be clearly relevant to the iGaming, gambling, sportsbook, casino, or adjacent sector served by iGamingPRNews. If the issuing entity does not already operate in this sector, the relevance of the announcement must be evident from the content.
- Factual accuracy. All claims must be accurate, verifiable, and supported by the issuing entity. Speculative statements, opinions presented as fact, and unsupported claims will not be approved.
- Neutral, journalistic tone. Content must be written in objective, third-person language. Superlatives, marketing hype, exclamation points, all-caps emphasis, and direct address to the reader (e.g., “you”, “we”, “our customers”) are not permitted.
- Original and unique. All content must be original. Templated material, content reposted from another source, and material infringing on copyrighted work will not be approved.
- Headline clarity. The headline must clearly indicate the news being announced and the issuing entity.
- Contact information and date. Articles must include up-to-date issuing-entity contact information and a publication date.
- Third-party mentions. When content references another company, individual, or organization, written permission from an authorised representative of that party must be supplied prior to submission.
Client-Supplied Content: Style Guidelines
If you choose to provide your own content rather than use our editorial writing service, the following additional rules apply:
- Length: between 500 and 1,000 words. This includes the headline, body, and any boilerplate. Submissions outside this range will be returned for revision.
- Language: English. Content must be written in fluent English, free of spelling and grammar errors. Acronyms and abbreviations must be defined on first use.
- Tone. Content must use objective language and read as journalism rather than marketing copy. Superlatives (“the best”, “the leading”, “revolutionary”, “industry-changing”), promotional adjectives, and salesy phrasing will trigger revision requests.
- Quotations. Quotes must be enclosed in quotation marks and attributed by name, job title, and company.
- Linking. A maximum of one in-body link per ~200 words. All links must direct to live, working, relevant pages.
- Formatting. No tables, HTML tags, forced line breaks, or non-standard characters. Standard paragraph formatting only.
Image Guidelines
If images are included with your article, the following requirements apply:
- Aspect ratio: 16:9 landscape. Recommended dimensions are 1920×1080 pixels, with 1200×675 as the absolute minimum. Vertical, square, or non-16:9 images cannot be used as featured images on most publications and will be rejected.
- High resolution. Images must be sharp, professionally produced, and free of compression artefacts or visible noise.
- Relevance. Images must be directly relevant to the article subject. Acceptable examples include platform or product screenshots, founder or executive photos, branded campaign imagery, and official event photography. Generic stock photography unrelated to the announcement will not be approved.
- File format. JPG or PNG only.
- Rights. Submitting an image certifies that you own its rights or have explicit permission to use it. We do not accept watermarked content, copyrighted material without authorisation, or AI-generated imagery presented as authentic photography.
Backlinks
iGamingPRNews guarantees one (1) backlink per published article, directing to a URL of the client’s choice. The following conditions apply:
- Dofollow vs. nofollow status depends on the individual publication and the package selected. Each partner publication operates under its own editorial policy, and link attribution (dofollow or nofollow) is determined at the publication level. We do not control link attributes and do not guarantee dofollow placements. Higher-tier packages tend to include publications more likely to provide dofollow links, but no specific link attribute can be guaranteed in advance.
- Anchor text. Anchor text is subject to editorial approval and may be edited to read more naturally within the article.
- Working URLs only. Submitted backlinks must direct to live, functioning, relevant pages on the client’s domain. Broken, redirected, or off-topic URLs will be flagged before submission.
Prohibited Content
iGamingPRNews will not place or produce content that promotes or contains any of the following:
- Illegal activity or content. Any reference to or promotion of activity that is unlawful in the jurisdictions where the content will be published. This includes the operation of gambling services without appropriate licensing, money laundering, fraud, or any other criminal activity.
- Financial or investment advice. Content presenting itself as investment advice or recommendation, including price predictions for tokens or securities, guaranteed returns, or instructions to buy specific assets.
- Sexually explicit content. Material targeted at adult audiences (over 18) or promoting sexually explicit products, services, or websites.
- Hate speech or content intended to harm. Material promoting hatred, discrimination, or violence against any group or individual, or designed to damage another company, person, or competitor.
- Pyramid schemes, scams, and get-rich-quick offers. Content promoting multi-level marketing structures, “guaranteed profit” programs, or any model that relies primarily on recruitment for returns.
- Pharmaceuticals and unapproved health products. Content promoting prescription medications, unauthorised weight-loss products, sexual-enhancement products, or unapproved health supplements.
- SEO manipulation. Content designed primarily for link manipulation rather than genuine communication. This includes keyword stuffing, abnormal link density, and content created solely to pass link equity.
- Copyrighted material without permission. Any content, image, or asset reproduced from a third-party source without explicit authorisation.
Content Removal and Refund Policy
Once an article is placed on a partner publication, the ongoing hosting of that article rests entirely with the publication. iGamingPRNews does not control partner publications and cannot guarantee that placed content will remain live indefinitely. The following circumstances may result in content being removed by a publication after placement, and in such cases iGamingPRNews is unable to provide a refund:
- Emerging legal disputes. If the issuing entity becomes involved in lawsuits, regulatory action, criminal investigations, or similar legal matters after placement, partner publications may remove related coverage to protect their editorial credibility. This is a publication-level decision outside our control.
- Reputational events. If significant negative news regarding the issuing entity emerges after placement (regulatory bans, large-scale customer complaints, payment disputes, financial collapse, fraud allegations), publications may remove related coverage at their discretion.
- Subsequent revelations of inaccuracy. If material claims within a placed article are later shown to be inaccurate or false, publications may remove or correct the content. Where the inaccuracy originates from information supplied by the client, no refund will be issued.
We strongly recommend disclosing any pending legal matters, active regulatory inquiries, or known reputational risks at the time of campaign briefing. This allows us to advise on the appropriate timing and approach for the campaign.
Editorial Discretion
iGamingPRNews’s editorial team reserves the right to:
- Edit submitted content to comply with these Guidelines and the standards of individual partner publications.
- Refuse any submission that does not meet these Guidelines.
- Make final determinations on whether content is suitable for placement.
Editorial decisions are final.
Limitations of Editorial Review
Editorial review by iGamingPRNews and our partner publications is limited to compliance with these Guidelines and standards of journalistic quality. Editorial review does not constitute:
- Verification of the factual accuracy of claims made by the issuing entity.
- Confirmation of regulatory or licensing compliance in any jurisdiction.
- Legal review of statements, claims, or representations.
- An endorsement of the issuing entity or its products or services.
The issuing entity (the client) assumes full responsibility for the accuracy, legality, and compliance of all content submitted to and placed through iGamingPRNews. In the event of any claim, dispute, or allegation arising from placed content, the client assumes full responsibility.
Updates to This Policy
These Guidelines may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of campaign submission applies to that campaign. The current version is always available at this URL.
